| This photo says a lot about Joplin's 2011 tornado recovery: first, as a train speeds past the church parking lot, we were reminded daily that life goes on. Next, the electric company works, from the same parking lot, to restore power and modern conveniences to affected residents. And finally, a search-and-rescue team waits to enter the damage zone, refusing to give up hope that one more person might be found. All any of us really needs is restoration. |
