The "Latter Day Saints" had chainsaw crews camping on their grounds just outside of Joplin. During the day, the crews scoured town looking for places that could use some help with trees and the like. The cleanup of Joplin took many months, and volunteers such as these were very helpful to our citizens. More about the initial confusion has been woven into my novel, Out of the Wind, which is now available from Amazon and for your Kindle device. It should also be available for order from most booksellers. |
