The entry room and hallway that leads to the new gymnasium and community safe room is finally defined in this photo. Built over the course of the winter of 2013/4, this is the hallway that extends the north wing of Cecil Floyd Elementary School. This is the route students will take to enter the safety of the EF5 tornado-resistent building in the event of a storm. After experiencing the 2011 tornado, the fears of many Joplin parents will be relieved with the completion of this addition. |
