Following the 2011 Joplin tornado, for a number of weeks, Sunday's worship services were held in the LaQuinta convention room. It was not the ideal situation, but attendance was high during this time. In the meantime, pews were refinished, carpet was ordered, and the roof was repaired, all while relief supplies were distributed to tornado survivors. |
