| This house, sitting on the northern edge of the tornado that marched through Joplin, Missouri, just three years ago, was pummeled with missiles, including this two-by-four. Can you imagine the sound of this things piercing your wall (not to mention the shotgun fire of other debris)? No one can capture the real feel of an EF5 tornado. People (including me) have written books to describe it, and people have filmed blockbuster movies to put you in the middle of the storm, but no one can adequately portray it for people who were not there. |
