One major addition to Parr Hill Park is the dog park, sponsored by Pedigree. After the 2011 tornado destroyed so much of Joplin, there was much to be said for the response of the ASPCA and the Joplin Humane Society on North Main. Volunteers were brought in, and supplies were donated to assist in the recovery and boarding of a number of displaced pets. It's an aspect of disaster relief that most of us do not think about, but in Joplin, Missouri, those important members of the family were cared for. |
Upon review of Words of Art: The New Testament Book of Acts, I realized it is incomplete. I am working on resolving the issue with some missing pages at the end. This will increase the page count from 110 to 140.
You can find Words of Art on Amazon, but don't buy it yet. I really want to approve of a hard copy in my hands before I ask you to buy one. I'm also wrestling with the black-and-white version right now, which will be half the price.
Here's the cover of the new book. The book itself is under review. Hopefully, the graphics will pass muster. Since the inside pages are full-color, this 110-page, square-shaped book will be more expensive, and it will only be available through a couple of avenues - probably Amazon, my own e-store, and directly from me. I'll look at the Kindle price and consider making a black-and-white version, as well. |
